I started this as my way of being able to give back to and support a community that we care about so deeply. I believe empathy goes a long way over sympathy where it means the most.
After my fiancé Natalie's diagnosis of Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2025, we both experienced the pain and grief of both roles of her being the patient and myself being the care taker. Hearing from other patients, survivors and their loved ones helped us in ways we can never thank enough. This led me to creating this project as a start to how we can give back and make an impact on others in the same way we were.

Who is this project for?
This project is for patients, survivors, and their loved ones who are navigating similar paths who would benefit from the communal support and shared stories. No matter where you are in your journey, anyone can participate and share their experience.
How do I participate or nominate someone?
I have created a google form for anyone to fill out. You will find the link at the bottom of the page. You may nominate someone or you may fill it out for yourself. I have curated it to allow you to share as little or as much as you are comfortable with.
How can I support this project?
The best way you can support this project is to watch the videos, engage with and share them across any of the platforms. If you have not been affected by cancer but would like to support, you can commission your own custom piece from me, which will directly support me making more pieces.
What does it cost?
No cost at all, Peacock Custom Machining will be covering all the costs from material to shipping. This cause is about the stories and community I want to build. I do not want cost to be a barrier for someone to share their experience and potentially help someone who needs to hear it.
Do I have to share my story?
No, you do not have to have your story shared online to receive your piece. The google form will have the option to check if you do not want your story shared publicly. It will have no weight on whether you receive your piece. Your privacy and comfort will remain our priority.
